Exec. Director / Lead Architect - DataWarehouse

Our client Major Bank is looking for Senior professional within their DW / BI group - Development Lead Architect / Exc. Director level

The role is for someone who has worked with and managed global team , hands on architect , worked in very large enterprise level DW space. The client is moving from Oracle to BigData.

Someone who can implement end to end Datawarehouse is the key for this role

The Base Salary can be in the range of $175-195k + bonus + benefits.

The Full Time / Perm Role is based out of NYC or Jersey City NJ

Purpose is to ensure the security and resiliency of the Firm’s computing environment, protect customer and employee confidential information, and comply with regulatory requirements globally. We accomplish this through strong information security leadership and active collaboration with line of business information risk managers to provide high quality security solutions and services that are focused on improving the Firm's risk posture.

Identity & Access Management: Provide identity and access management solutions for the firm’s infrastructure and applications. Ensure the appropriate access controls are in place and applied effectively and continuously. Within the CT&R group you will work in a team environment to provide knowledge of WEB applications and relational databases, i.e.Net and Oracle technologies. You will be also involved with all levels of the design process, including requirements gathering, business analysis, system infrastructure and application consideration, and development.
This individual must gather and understand the business requirements and strategies of the stakeholders and then be able to design, drive development, and implement these solutions in the product. The person in this position will be involved in direct communications with Business users.

· 10 plus years of experience with data warehousing and data repository expertise.

· Hands on Architect experience is required

· Experience with Big Data like Hadoop is a plus

· Exposure to Software Architectural methodologies and theories.

· Proven expertise and deep experience with Enterprise Multi-tier WEB and Multi-threaded software development, application/database tuning.

· Proven expertise and deep experience with Oracle development (PL/SQL) and relational schema design.

· SQL Server and t-SQL development experience.

· Experience with application and information security is preferred.

· Outstanding documentation experience.

· Experience with system design and architecture.

· Familiarity with web based scripting languages.

· Ability to learn and actively seek new skills and knowledge to keep up with the changing technology field.

· Ability to work with project cycles and manage rapid changes.

· Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment, work under pressure and deadline.

· Ability to think outside the box, adapt to circumstances, learn from co-workers, and share information and experiences.
