Location: Fort Lee, NJ - onsite work only

Position Type: Full Time

Base Salary – $ 250-270k

Summary:
-The Security Manager oversees information and physical security at the company.
-The Security Manager will ensure that our client’s trading platform and ancillary software adheres to our hedge-fund client’s security policies and standards.
-Additionally, the Security Manager will be responsible for enforcing and enhancing in-house security policies and standards.
-This is a technology-centric role requiring infrastructure and application security understanding.
The Security Manager will work with internal developers and architects to ensure the security of the products and infrastructure.

-This position does not currently have direct reports, however the ability to build and manage a security team is essential.

Duties and Responsibilities:
-Interface with hedge-fund client to understand its product security needs and assist our client’s development team to meet those standards.
-Manage and perform security reviews : threat modeling, as well as participating in architecture reviews, code reviews, and deployment configuration audits.

Qualifications:
-Strong Technical Aptitude – deep knowledge and experience in application development
-Secure Coding Experience
-Programming Languages – does not need to have coding background, but should have knowledge of application frameworks and programing languages and available security APIs including C++, .Net, Java, Python and shell scripting.
