REQUIREMENT DETAILS
ECN and e-channels, the team supports the Treasury Services distribution requirements providing custom channel tools for capture and automated pricing and risk management of the deal flows resulting from treasury and custody activity. 
The team also supports and develops an order management platform that supports a wide range of order types ranging from standard limit and stop orders to more sophisticated algorithmic strategies

The successful candidate will ideally have: 

• Experience of developing with low latency market data and order processing systems.
• Investment banking trading business knowledge (across Rates, Credit & Equities).
• Working experience of agile development methods (using continuous integration tools, automated build processes, test-driven development tools, etc.).
• Experience of other programming languages, preferably Python and C++.
• FX market experience (specifically orders):
• Experience with other order management systems

As a developer within the team the successful candidate will:

• Own the design, development, and testing of particular components within the orders platform.
• Work directly with front office trading and sales to analyze requirements and plan future enhancements and new development work.
• Work with other small teams of committed developers to deliver integrated solutions.
• Be a voice of knowledge and experience in their areas of expertise.
• Be a productive, independent, self-motivated Java developer. 
• Contribute to the overall architecture of the Currencies Technology offering.
• Provide technical support to the production systems when required.

The successful candidate must demonstrate all of the following skills:

• Substantial experience with software design and senior development skills in a high pressure, time critical environment.
• In-depth Java J2SE development experience.
• Competent with developing multithreaded, scalable, concurrent applications.
• Experience of multi-tier architectures and DBMS platforms.
• Ability to own multiple streams of work and to organize self and others to deliver in a timely fashion.
• Effective production support skills
• Ability to face off to the business
• Good understanding of performance tuning, message integrity and security related to real-time applications.
