Location: Jersey City, NJ
Position Type: Contract (6 Plus months)

Responsibilities will be:
Design and develop Margin Calculators.
Develop Java based thick GUI interface for monitoring margin clients.
Development of data services using REST services.
Integration with Margin Analytics.

Interact with multiple Front, Middle, and Back Office business/technology groups to support and maintain the system.
The candidate will join a highly technical team and will be working on a system built using latest available technologies with parallel processing, distributed caching and processing.

Job Skills
Very Strong Core Java
Strong knowledge of data structures, concurrency, objected oriented design, distributed systems principles
Working experience with databases (Oracle) is a plus
Working experience with Hibernate
Working experience with Linux, SVN
Knowledge of caching strategies (local and distributed). Experience with Gemfire or any caching solution is a plus.
Knowledge of web services (REST, SOAP etc.) will be a plus
Working experience with any of the UI Frameworks like - GWT, JavaFX and Swing will be a plus.
Driven and eager to learn the technology & business - Familiarity with Risk and Margin concepts is a plus.
