The Hiring Manager wants someone who is strong Object Oriented Developer - Either Java or C++

This project is being built from Scratch
 manager is looking for strong C++ / Java with Sybase , Perl, SQL, Fixed Income background

Good understanding of Fixed Income Instruments (Rates, Structured Products, MBS). Understanding or experience with QRM a plus - not a must


Candidate will be part of a team developing infrastructure capable of providing Asset Liability Management functionality.
   5+ years of Application Development work experience either Java or C++
• Excellent knowledge of Fixed Income Products, Risk and PL.
• Minimum 5+ year’s experience (Solid experience) working with SQL database
• Strong database design, coding, testing and debugging skills.
• Experience in creating logical and Physical data models to Translate business and technical requirements into database components.
• Strong Performance tuning and Optimization skills.
• Minimum 5+ year’s experience (Solid experience) in scripting languages – Python OR  Perl, Shell scripting.
• Proven systems analysis, problem solving and diagnostic capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work well in a team oriented environment
• Strong analytical and communication skills and an eagerness to learn.
